In the space of seven months selected students from Montenegro’s universities have attended 10 GBPro day courses, with the final one taking place in March 2018.
The study trip has been organized in cooperation with the Innovation Academy who will take the group to visit sustainable highlights of the city. The three day agenda includes: Introduction to sustainable development in Freiburg; Historical and current development of the old town; Refurbishment of the University library; Visit to one of the most ecological hotels of the world; Modernization of a social housing neighborhood; Freiburg’s new town hall; Passive house modernization of a high rise Energie Plus® houses and other.
In line with the mission of the GBC ME to lead and educate society to create a balance between the ecological objectives of Montenegro, the GBPro course, coupled with the study trip will inspire and empower the young generation, future architects and construction managers in Montenegro, to tip the balance towards sustainable and green building practice in Montenegro.
